Kibaek Sung is a contemporary artist, designer living in Rochester, NY. He was born in South Korea in 1986. He completed a B.F.A. in 2009 from Seoul National University followed by an M.F.A. in the same program of the College of Fine Arts, Faculty of Crafts & Design in 2015. He has had exhibitions in art galleries, museums, and craft shows. He has been teaching at universities as an instructor of metalsmith and CAD programming. He has also contributed to the communities around him through his public art projects. Kibaek is currently making artworks and teaching as an instructor in Metal & Jewelry, Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY, USA.
